About me

Figuring life out is harder than it looks. I am learning to reflect and lead others into deep reflection, bridging the world of ideas and concepts into day to day living (be it for individuals, groups or an organisation). Reflecting deeply and exchanging honestly can help build people who are more in touch with (the real) reality — people who are more alive.

I hold a PhD in Human Geography and a PhD in International Relations. As a contemplative scholar, my work and writing are a journey of learning to reflect and lead others into deep reflection. Having grown up in rural Portugal, I now live in Bonn, Germany, working for the greater good of societies at PIRON Global Development.
